lesionswhohadbeenexaminedby
18 F-FDGPET
/ CTwasperformed.Theresultswereconfirmed
bypathology orfollow-up with clinicandimaging.Maximum standardized uptake values
(
SUVmax ) ofbenignand malignantpancreaticlesionswerecompared , andreceiveroperating
characteristic ( ROC ) curveofSUVmaxindiagnosisofmalignantpancreaticlesionswereanalyzed.
Thesensitivity , specificity , accuracy , positiveandnegativepredictivevalueof
18 F-FDGPET
/ CT
indiagnosisofbenignandmalignantpancreaticlesionswerecalculated.Results Therewere35
malignant ( 35 / 57 , 61.40% ) and22benign ( 22 / 57 , 38.60% ) in57pancreaticlesions.TheSUVmax ofmalignantandbenignpancreaticlesionswere3. 88±2.04and2. 09±0.94 , respectively ( t =
4.481 , P <0.01 ) .TheROCareaundercurveforSUVmaxindiagnosisofmalignantpancreatic
lesionswas0.872 ( 95% CI : 0. 771~0.973 , P <0.01 ) .WhentheSUVmaxwas2.42 , thesumof
thesensitivityandthespecificitywasmaximumof1.709.Thesensitivity , specificity , accuracy ,
positivepredictivevalueandnegativepredictivevalueof
18 F-FDG PET
/ CTin diagnosisof
malignantpancreaticlesionswere85.71% ( 30 / 35 )、 81.82% ( 18 / 22 )、 84.21% ( 48 / 57 )、 88.24%

30 / 34 )、 78.26% ( 18 / 23 ), respectively.Conclusion  18 F-FDG PET / CTisagoodtechniquein
diagnosisofbenignandmalignantpancreaticlesions.
