The analysis of hearing results in 250 patients with tinnitus

Abstract: [
Abstract ] Objective Toanalyzethehearingresultofnormalfrequencyandextendedhigh
frequencyaudiometryin250patientswithtinnitus.Methods Acousticimpedancetest , normal
frequencyandextendedhighfrequencyaudiometrywereappliedto250patientswithtinnitusat
theperiodofbetween18to35.Results 36. 0% ( 90 / 250cases , 180ears ) patientswerediagnosed
withnormalhearing , and64.0% ( 160
/ 250cases ,
320ears ) patientswithabnormalhearing.There
werestatisticallysignificantinthehearingthresholdoccurrencerate ( 4 , 8 , 10 , 12.5and16kHz )
betweenthegroupsofnormalhearingandabnormalhearingwithtinnitus ( P <0.05 ) .Therewere
statisticallydifferentinthethresholdoccurrencerate ( 12. 5and16kHz ) betweenthegroupsof
normalhearingwithtinnitusandcontrolgroup ( P <0.05 ) .However , therewasnotstatistically
differentbetweentheaffectedandcontralateralsidewithunilateraltinnituspatients ( P >0.05 ) .
Conclusion Tinnitusandhearinglosshavesomerelevance.Itismeaningfultotestextendedhigh
frequencyaudiometry , Thestudyonthepathogenesisoftinnitusneedstobefurtherimproved
