Abstract: Objective To explore the effect and value of comprehensive intervention on the patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus.Methods A total of 138 patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus participated in this study and the patients were randomly divided into control group (n=69)and observation group (n=69 ),the control group received traditional nursing mode,the observation group adopted traditional nursing mode plus diabetic education propaganda, reasonable exercise therapy,psychological guidance and nutritional diet therapy.Results Compared with control group,the awareness rate of diabetic related knowledge and the treatment compliance in the observation group significantly increased,in addition the fasting blood glucose, postprandial blood glucose and glycosylated hemoglobin in the observation group significantly decreased(P<0.01).Conclusion Preventive comprehensive nursing intervention on patients with diabetes mellitus can promote patients'compliance,ameliorate glucose control and improve the patients'quality of life.
