Abstract: ［Abstract］〓Objective〖HTSS〗〓To investigate the effect of low temperature plasma treatment on the bond strength of fiber posts.
〖HTH〗〖WTHZ〗Methods〖HTSS〗〓Thirtytwo fiber posts samples were randomly divided into control group and plasma irradiation group. The control group was not subjected to special treatment, and the plasma irradiation group was subjected to lowtemperature plasma treatment. Other processes were the same between the two groups in this study. Then, the bond strength of each specimen was tested with a biomechanical machine.
〖HTH〗〖WTHZ〗Results〖HTSS〗〓The average shearing strength of the plasma irradiation group was significantly higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P＜005).
〖HTH〗〖WTHZ〗Conclusion〖HTSS〗〓Lowtemperature plasma treatment can improve the bond strength of fiber posts.
