Relationship between miRNA29a3p and myocardial fibrosis in patients of hypertension with left ventricular hypertrophy#br#

Abstract: [Abstract] Objective〖HTSS〗〓To explore the relationship between miRNA29a3p and myocardial fibrosis in patients of hypertension with left ventricular hypertrophy.
〖HTH〗〖WTHZ〗Methods〖HTSS〗〓One hundred and sixty  patients with grade 2 or higher primary hypertension were divided into pure hypertension group(80 cases) and hypertension with left ventricular hypertrophy group(80 cases), the healthy people in our hospital physical examination center were enrolled as control group(90 cases). The miRNA29a3p,matrix metalloproteinases9(MMP9), procollagen Ⅰ and Ⅲ in serum were detected in three groups. The relationship between miRNA29a3p and MMP9,PINP and PIIINP in hypertension with left ventricular hypertrophy group were analyzed.
〖HTH〗〖WTHZ〗Results〖HTSS〗〓Serum miRNA29a3p levels in the hypertension group and hypertension with left ventricular hypertrophy were higher than those in the control group, and the levels of miRNA29a3p in the hypertension with left ventricular hypertrophy group were higher than those in the hypertension group(P<005). The levels of serum type Ⅰ collagen, type Ⅲ  collagen and matrix metalloproteinase9 in the hypertension group and hypertension with left ventricular hypertrophy were higher than those in the control group. The levels of serum type Ⅰ collagen, type Ⅲ collagen and matrix MMP9 in hypertension with left ventricular hypertrophy group were higher than the hypertension group(P<005).The expression level of serum miRNA29a3p in hypertension with left ventricular hypertrophy was positively correlated with the levels of type Ⅰ collagen, type Ⅲ collagen and matrix MMP9(P<005).
〖HTH〗〖WTHZ〗Conclusion〖HTSS〗〓Level of miRNA29a3p reflects the degree of myocardial fibrosis in patients with hypertension with left ventricular hypertrophy.
