Abstract: ［Abstract］ ObjectiveTo study effects of Chuanhuning injection in treatment of acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(AECOPD) and the efficacy of interleukin 8(IL-8), hypersensitive C-reactive protein(hs-CRP) and tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α) level.
〖WTHZ〗MethodsOne hundred patients with AECOPD were randomly divided into two groups: control group and treatment group. The patients in the control group were given routine treatment, while the patients in the treatment group were given 500 mg Chuanhuning injection on the basis of the control group. The differences of TCM syndrome score, clinical effect, lung function and serum hs-CPR, IL-8 and TNF-α levels between the two groups before and after treatment were compared.
〖WTHZ〗ResultsAfter treatment, the effective rate of treatment in the treatment group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P＜0.05). The serum levels of hs-CPR, IL-8 and TNF-α in the two groups showed a gradual downward trend, and the decline in the treatment group was more obvious, and the differences in the interaction among groups, time points and groups were statistically significant(P＜0.05). The level of forced expiratory volume in one second(FEV1), forced vital capacity(FVC) and FEV1/FVC in the two groups increased gradually, and the level of FEV1/FVC in the treatment group increased more significantly, the difference of interaction among groups, time points and groups was statistically significant(P＜0.05). After treatment, compared with before treatment, the scores of expectoration, cough, rale and wheeze in the two groups were significantly lower, and the scores in the treatment group were significantly lower than control group(P＜0.01).
〖WTHZ〗ConclusionChuanhuning injection has a good clinical effect in the treatment of AECOPD, which can significantly reduce the levels of hs-CPR, IL-8 and TNF-α. It is worthy of clinical application.
