Abstract: A case of special proximal tibial fracture-tibial plateau Hoffa fracture was introduced in this article. A 41-year-old male patient presented with pain and swelling of the left knee joint after kicked on the lateral calf. The posteromedial split fracture of left tibial plateau was seen on X-ray and CT scan. We used the technique of double reverse traction and minimally invasive fixation for treatment. The Results   of postoperative imaging examination and clinical effect were satisfactory. The tibial plateau Hoffa fracture is usually caused by the vertical shear force from femoral condyle in a flexion position of the knee and is extremely prone to be overlooked. Minimally invasive technique should be used to treat this kind of fracture, which is beneficial to the early recovery of patient and reduce the postoperative complications.
