operation , wecomparedthepostoperativeocularirritationsymptoms , healtimeofcorneal
epithelial , visualacuity , diopter , occurrenceofhaze , cornealtopography ( ISVandIVA ) and
higher-orderaberration ( RmSh , ComaandSA ) .Results Thepostoperativeirritationsymptoms
andhealtimeofcornealepithelialwithflap-freeEpi-LASIK werelessandshorterthanEpi-
LASIK ( P <0.05 ) .Therewasnodifferenceinform ofdiopter , hazeformation , ISV , IVA ,
RMSh , ComaandSA betweenflap-freeEpi-LASIKandEpi-LASIK ( P >0.05 ) .Atthefirst
week , thevisualacuityofflap-freeEpi-LASIK wasbetterthanthatofEpi-LASIK.Butthe
differenceofvisualacuitybecamenosignificantatthethirdmonth ( P >0.05 ) .Conclusion Flap-
freeEpi-LASIKyieldedlesspostoperativeirritation , lessrecovertimeofcornealepithelialand quickerrecoveryofnakedeyevisualacuity.Thefateofcornealepithelialflapdidnotaffectthe
long-termoccurrenceofhaze.BothofEpi-LASIKandflap-freeEpi-LASIKyieldedgoodvisual
qualityafter3monthswithbettervisualqualityandstablerefraction.
