Abstract: Abstract] ObjectiveTo explore the influence of Teachback mission pattern on the patients with upper gastrointestinal hemorrhage. MethodsOne hundred patients with upper gastrointestinal hemorrhage were divided into two groups according to random numbers table: observation group and control group, 50 cases in each group. Control group patients were given the traditional education pattern of nursing. Observation group patients were given Teachback mission pattern of nursing. Patients knowledge level of related upper gastrointestinal hemorrhage, the status of mental health, and satisfaction of nursing work, hospitalization rates again within 30 days and within 90 days out of the hospital are compared between two groups. ResultsThe knowledge rate about health condition in patients of observation group is higher than that of control group after the 5 d in the hospital(P<0.01). The scores in fear, anxiety, depression, paranoia, hostility psychological status of observation group of patients were lower than that of the control group(P<005). The evaluation satisfaction of nursing work of observation group is higher than that of control group(P<005). The hospitalization rates again within 30 days and within 90 days out of the hospital of observation group are lower than that of control group(P<005). ConclusionTeachback mission pattern is superior to the traditional education pattern.
