Abstract: [Abstract]〓Objective〖HTSS〗〓To explore the clinical value of color Doppler ultrasound in the early diagnosis of neonatal encephalopathy, and provide the basis for early diagnosis and treatment of neonatal encephalopathy.
〖HTH〗〖WTHZ〗Methods〖HTSS〗〓The 92 neonates with neonatal encephalopathy were selected as case group(the mild and the moderate to severe groups), and 42 neonates without neonatal encephalopathy during the same period were randomly selected as control group. All these neonates received cranial ultrasound to detect intracranial structure and the brain blood flow. And all the cerebral hemodynamics parameters of middle cerebral artery which include peak systolic velocity(PSV), end diastolic velocity(EDV) and resistance index(RI) were measured via color Doppler flow.
〖HTH〗〖WTHZ〗Results〖HTSS〗〓According to the results of twodimension(2D) Cranial ultrasonography(cUS), 51 cases of the mild group were abnormal(63.0%). 9 cases of the moderate to severe group were abnormal(81.8%). cUS findings were normal in 42 neonates of control group. The color Doppler flow cUS results showed that PSV and EDV of the mild group were lower than that in control group and that PSV and EDV of the moderate to severe group were lower than that in control group and also the mild group, while RI was higher. There were significant differences between groups(P<005).
〖HTH〗〖WTHZ〗Conclusion〖HTSS〗〓cUS, using color Doppler flow on the basis of 2D is of great value in early diagnosing of neonatal encephalopathy in neonates.
