Abstract: ［Abstract］ Objective〖HTSS〗〓To investigate the elderly′s situation of knowledge on oral health in community, to analyze the causes and to provide a foundation for works about the elderly′s oral care.
〖HTH〗〖WTHZ〗Methods〖HTSS〗〓〖JP2〗A selfcompiled survey on the knowledge, attitude, belief, practice of the elderly′s〖JP〗 oral health were used for 1 226 old people.
〖HTH〗〖WTHZ〗Results〖HTSS〗〓The survey results show that the elderly is lack of oral health knowledge and oral health education activities. Education level, monthly income, oral health education activities are the major factors affecting the elderly′s oral health knowledge level.
〖HTH〗〖WTHZ〗Conclusion〖HTSS〗〓Oral health education is an effective way to improve oral health knowledge of the elderly. It is recommended to carry out oral health education for the elderly, relying on the resources of the community health service center.
