Abstract: ［Abstract］〓Objective〖HTSS〗〓To explore the influence on carotid endometrium thickness and nerve function for the patients with acute cerebral infarction in old age by butylphthalide soft capsules combine with basic treatment.
〖HTH〗〖WTHZ〗Methods〖HTSS〗〓The 92 cases of patients with acute cerebral infarction were randomly divided into observation group and control group. The control group were treated by edaravone, the observation group were treated by butylphthalide they were treated for 14 d. The clinical effects, carotid intima media thickness and plaque area, neurological status and adverse reactions were compared.
〖HTH〗〖WTHZ〗Results〖HTSS〗〓The clinical effects for the observation group were better than the control group(P＜005). The carotid intima media thickness, plaque area after treatment for the groups were lower than before treatment(P＜005), the carotid intima media thickness, plaque area after treatment for the observation group were lower than the control group(P＜005). The scores of NIHSS, BI after treatment for the groups were lower than before treatment(P＜005), the scores of NIHSS, BI after treatment for the observation group were lower than the control group(P＜005). The scores of Rankin after treatment for the groups were higher than before treatment(P＜005), the scores of  Rankin after treatment for the observation group were higher than the control group(P＜005). There had no significant difference on the complication(P＞0.05).
〖HTH〗〖WTHZ〗Conclusion〖HTSS〗〓It can reduce the carotid intima media thickness for the patients with acute cerebral infarction in old age by butylphthalide soft capsules combine with basic treatment, it can improve the neurological function, with high safety.
