Abstract: Objective To study the function and effects of humanism nursing on diabetic patients. Methods A sum of 200 patients were randomly divided into the observation group(100 cases) and control group(100 cases). The control group was treated with routine nursing,and the observation group,besides routine nursing,was treated with humanism nursing based on patients′ feelings and characteristics. Then,the therapeutic effects and patients′ satisfaction were compared and observed between two groups. Results The treatment compliance of the observation group treated with humanism nursing increased to 92 . 0%,which was higher than that of the control group ( 61 . 0%),and the satisfaction(95. 0%)was also significantly higher than that of the control group(54. 0%)(P﹤0. 01). Conclusion Humanism nursing embodies the connotation of high quality nursing service and makes patients feel respectful. It also meets the personalized needs of diabetic patients in the emotional and psychological aspects,increases mutual trust between the two sides and is highly recognized by patients and their families.
