Effect of multienzyme biofilm detergent on the removal efficiency of the biofilm in the otolaryngology surgery instruments

Abstract ] Objective Toinvestigatethecleaningeffectofmultienzymebiofilmdetergentfor
biofilm ontheotolaryngologysurgicalinstruments.Methods Selected600 otolaryngology
surgicalinstrumentswererandomlydividedintogroupA ( multienzymebiofilmdetergentgroup )
andgroupB ( conventionaldetergent ), eachgouphas300otdaryngdogysurgicalinstruments
throughvisualinspection , microscope , andscanningelectronmicroscope , toobservepollutants
andbiofilmscleaningrate.Results Allinstrumentswerequalifiedthrouhgvisualinspectionafter
rinsebythesetwodetergentsrespectively.95. 0% ofinstrumentsingroupA werequalifiedby
microscopedetection , 84. 0%ingroupB , andbiofilmdetergenthadbettercleaningeffectthan
conventionaldetergent ( P < 0.01 ) .Biofilm detergent remove biofilm rate was 99.0% ,
conventionaldetergentwas94. 0% , andbiofilmdetergenthadabetterremovaleffectonbiofilm
thanconventionaldetergentthroughscanningelectron microscopeinvestigation ( P <0.01 ) .
Conclusion Multienzyme biofilm detergent can clean pollutants and biofilms on the
otolaryngologysurgicalinstrumentseffectively.
