The value of dynamic monitoring on caspase3 and NSE in the diagnosis and treatment of neonatal hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy#br#

Abstract: [
Abstract ] Objective Todynamicallyobservecaspase-3andneuronspecificenolase ( NSE ) of
theneonatewiththedifferentstageofhypoxicischemicencephalopathyandtoexploretherelated
significance.Methods Sixty-seven ofchildren with hypoxicischemicencephalopathy were
randomlyselected , in which mild , moderateandseveregroup were23 , 23 , 21respectively.
Twentyneonatesoffulltermnormalwereascontrolgroup.Alltheneonatesin1day , 3days , 7
daysaftertheirbirthweretakenbloodtodetecttheserumlevelsofcaspase-3andNSE.Results
Caspase-3levelsineachgroupshowedatrendofincreaseinfirstdays , thirddaysandseventh
days , buttheamountoftheincreaseanddecreaseinthecontrolgroupwasverysmall , whilethe
changerangewasverybiginthemildHIEgroup , moderateHIEgroupandsevereHIEgroup ,
andtheheaviertheconditionthegreaterthefluctuation.ThelevelofNSEinthecontrolgroup
andthemildHIEgroupshowedatrendoffirstincreasingandthendecreasing.ButtheNSElevel
of moderate HIEgroupandsevere HIEgroupshowedagradualdownwardtrend.Thereis significantdifferencebetweenthegroups , thetimepointsandtheirinteraction ( P <0.01 ) .
Conclusion Bothcaspase-3andNSEwereinvolvedinthepathophysiologicalprocessofHIE , the
levelsofcaspase-3 and NSE werecloselyrelatedtotheseverity andthecourse of HIE
progression.The moreseverityofthe HIE , thehigherlevelofthetwoindicators.Dynamic
