Abstract: [Abstract]〓Objective〖HTSS〗〓To investigate the effect of drugcoated balloon on diabetic patients with inferior genu artery disease.
〖HTH〗〖WTHZ〗Methods〖HTSS〗〓Sixtyfour diabetic patients with inferior genu artery disease were randomly divided into observation group and control group with 32 cases in each group. The control group was treated with percutaneous translumin alangioplasty and the observation group with drugcoated balloon. The primary patency rate, the incidence of revascularization and restenosis were compared between two groups.
〖HTH〗〖WTHZ〗Results〖HTSS〗〓After treatment, the minimum lumen diameter was significantly increased than that before treatment, and the rate of lumen stenosis was lower than that before treatment in both group(P<005). There was no significant difference in the minimum lumen diameter and the rate of lumen stenosis between two groups(P>005). There was no significant difference in operation time, maximal dilation pressure, dilation time, stretch time, dosage of contrast medium and primary patency rate between two groups(P>005). One year after treatment, the incidence of restenosis in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group, and the anklebrachial index was significantly higher than that in the control group(P<005). There was no significant difference in the rate of revascularization at the target lesions between two groups(P>005). The improvement rate of walking disorder before discharge and 6minute walking test distance in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P<0.05). There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between two groups(P>005).
〖HTH〗〖WTHZ〗Conclusion〖HTSS〗〓Drugcoated balloon has a better effect on revascularization of target lesions in patients with diabetic inferior genicular artery disease, which can increase their motor ability and improve their quality of life.
