Pediatric nursing -- the influence of comprehensive nursing intervention on the length of stay and the satisfaction of family members of children with severe pneumonia

Abstract: Objective: to analyze the clinical symptoms of children with severe pneumonia after comprehensive nursing care. Methods: our hospital in 2011 March to 2013 march during the 60 cases of patients with severe pneumonia were symptomatic treatment of finishing, the randomly allocated according to the principle of distribution, divided into test group and control group, 30 patients in each group, at the end of the treatment period, the control group take routine treatment and test group, application of comprehensive nursing intervention on treatment and nursing care of means to carry out care. After the same course of treatment, the recovery time of the symptoms of the patients were collected, and the parents of the patients were investigated. Results: the average time of hospitalization in the experimental group was better than that of the control group, the length of hospital stay was 12.2 + 3.2 days and 16.2 + 3.3 days. Its time was less than 0.05 P, with statistical significance. In the patients' parents' satisfaction on nursing, the satisfaction rate of the two groups was 100% and 88%, respectively, and the data was less than 0.05, which was statistically significant. Conclusion: In treatment of children with severe pneumonia in comprehensive nursing treatment information analysis, and for parents of nursing method to carry on the analysis, it can be see that the comprehensive nursing can effectively shorten time of treatment in children with, in clinical application worth.
