The Brinzolamide treatment on intraocular pressure in gynecological laparoscopic operation

Abstract ] Objective ToinvestigatetheeffectsofBrinzolamideontheintraocularpressure
(
IOP ) duringgynecologicallaparoscopicsurgery.Methods SixtycasesofASAgradeⅠ orⅡ
gynecologicalpatientswithuterinefibroidsunderwentlaparoscopichysterectomyweredivided
intotwogroups : thebrinzolamidegroup ( n =30 ) andthecontrolgroup ( n =30 ) accordingto
differentmodusoperandi.IOP , heartrate ( HR ), meanarterialpressure ( MAP ), end-tidalcarbon
dioxidepartialpressure ( P ET CO 2 ) andairway pressure ( Paw ) were measured5 minafter
anesthesia ( T 0 ), 30 min ( T 1 ), 60 min ( T 2 ) and120 min ( T 3 ) afterbrinzolamideeyedrops
(
brinzolamide ) treatment , pneumoperitoneum ( PP ) orabdominalwallwassuspended , 30 min
afterdeflationorabdominalwallwasputdown ( T 4 ) .Results IOPofthegroupAandgroupB wereincreasedsignificantlyatT 1 , T 2 andT 3 .Therewerestatisticallysignificantdifferencesinthe
interactionbetweengroupandtimepointsaswellasbetweengroups ( P <0.05 ) .MAP , HR , P ET
CO 2 andPawofthegroupAandgroupBwereincreasedsignificantlyatT 1 , T 2 , T 3 .Therewere
significantdifferences betweenthetime points ( P <0.05 ) .Conclusion Brinzolamidecan
effectively preventtheintraocular hypertension during gynecologicallaparoscopic surgery ,
preventopticnerveinjury , andhasnoeffectontherespiratoryandcirculatorysystem.
