Abstract: [Abstract]ObjectiveTo observe the effect of hip muscle training on resistance in patients with stress urinary incontinence.
〖WTHZ〗MethodsOne hundred and thirty patients with mild to moderate stress urinary incontinence(SUI) were selected as the research object. They were randomly divided into observation group(65 cases) and control group(65 cases). The observation group took resistance hip muscle training, including hip abduction exercise and hip adduction exercise; The control group took pelvic floor muscle exercise, both groups exercised for 12 weeks. Before and 12 weeks after the intervention, urinary incontinence frequency questionnaire and 1 hour pad test were used for evaluation.
〖WTHZ〗ResultsAfter 12 weeks of intervention, the scores of urinary incontinence times in the two groups were lower than that before intervention, and the urine leakage in the one hour urine pad test was significantly less than that before intervention. The scores of urinary incontinence times in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group, and the urine leakage in the one hour urine pad test was significantly less than that in the control group(P<0.05).
〖WTHZ〗ConclusionHip muscle exercise can significantly improve the symptoms of urinary incontinence in Sui patients and reduce the amount of urine leakage, which is worthy of clinical promotion.
