Clinical analysis of uniportal video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery in the diagnosis and treatment of pulmonary tuberculoma

Abstract: [ Abstract ] Objective To evaluate the application value of uniportal video-assisted
thoracoscopicsurgery ( UVATS ) inthediagnosisandtreatmentofpulmonarytuberculoma.
Methods Seventy-sixpatientswithtuberculomawerechosenastheresearchobject , andwere
randomlyassignedtotwogroups , with38casesineach.The38patients withpulmonary
tuberculoma undergoing UVATS resection and 38 patients with pulmonary tuberculoma
undergoingthoracotomyresection werecomparativelyanalyzed.theobservationgroupusing
singleportthoracoscopysurgery , observationgroup2durationofoperationtime , intraoperative
bleedingvolume , postoperativewithtimeandpostoperativecomplicationsafter.Postoperative
complicationsofpatientswithpleuraleffusionandwoundinfection , etc.Results Therewere
shorterinoperativetimeandlessbloodlossbetweenthetwogroups , andthedurationofdrainage
wassignificantlyshorterinthesingleutilityportVATSsurgerygroupthanthethoracotomy
groupwithstatisticallysignificantdifference ( P <0.05 ) .Conclusion UVATSisasafeand
effectivemethodinthetreatmentanddianosisofpatientswithpulmonarytuberculomas , andit
canalsoprovideareliablediagnosisforallpatientswithsolitarypulmonarynodule.
