Abstract ] Objective Toaccesstheamountofmaxillaryandmandibularinterradicularbone
andtodeterminethemostreliableimplantsitesinclassⅡ patients.Methods Twenty-four ( 12
females , 12males ) class Ⅱ patientsconebeamcomputedtomographyrecordswereobtained ,
mesiodistadirection measurements were made at 0 , 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 , 5 mm heights from
cementoenameljunctionthroughaxialslices.Results Inbothmaxillaryandmandibulararch , the
inter-radicularspacewasincreasedintheapicaldirectionexceptbetweentheupperfirstand
secondmolar.Themeasurementsofregionbetweentheuppercanineandfirstpremolarshowed
significantdifferencesbetweenmaleandfemalegroups.Thebonespaceexceeds3.2mmlocated
atregionsincludemaxilla : betweencentralincisors ( 5mm ), lateralincisorandcanine ( 5mm ),
canineandfirstpremolar ( male , 3mmabove ), firstandsecondpremolars ( 4mmabove ), second
premolarandfirstmolar ( 3 mmabove ) .In mandible , thedistancebetweentherootandroot
increasedalongtherootapex.Thedistancefromtheroottothedistalpartoftherootlongerthan
3. 2 mminclude : firstandsecondpremolars ( 2 mm above ), firstandsecond molars ( 2 mm above ), secondpremolarandfirstmolar ( 1mmabove )( mandible ) .Conclusion Theregionsthat
werenotidealformini-implantsinsertionforclassⅡpatientsincludedareasbetweencentraland
lateralincisorsormolars ( maxilla ); regionsbetweenincisorsandcanines.Thereweredifferences
inthepositionofthesafetyimplantfordifferentposition.
