Abstract: Objective　To evaluate the clinical valuation and effect of Aotaile infusion on irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).Methods　Inverstigate the effect of 58 cases treated with Aotaile infusion for 2 weeks in comparing with the control group treated with Bifico and investigated to the effect of Aotaile on the spastic colon of rabbit was induced by acetylcholine and BaCl2. Results　The total effective rate by Aotaile infusion reached 89.66 % and by Bifico reached 65 % (P<0.001).Which was inverstigated to Aotaile markedly improved spastic colon of rabbit's was induced by acetylcholine and BaCl2 in vitr.Conclusion　It is one of the effective Chinese drugs for the treatment of IBS.
