Abstract: ABSTRACT:Objective To demonstrate whether Pentacam three dimension anterior eye segment analysis system can be used in the early screening of primary angle-closure glaucoma (PACG).Methods Five groups were included in the study:normal control group,primary acute angle-closure glaucoma (APACG) remission group,primary chronic angle closure glaucoma (CPACG)group,APACG preclinical group and CPACG contralater group.Then measured three parameters of anterior chamber morphology of the 25 eyes in each group by using Pentacam three dimension anterior eye segment analysis system including anterior chamber depth(ACD),anterior chamber volume (ACV),anterior chamber angle (ACA).Results Measurements of the three parameters of anterior chamber morphology in the normal control group were higher than the other four groups (P < 0.01 ).While the differences between the four PACG groups were not statistically significant.Conclusion Parameters of anterior chamber morphology measured by Pentacam three dimension anterior eye segment analysis system can provide basis in the screening and early treatment of PACG patients.
