Abstract ] Objective Toobserveshort-termeffectoflargedosageiodinecontrastonthyroid
functionandmorphologyindiagnosisandtreatmentofcoronaryheartdisease.Methods Fifty
patientswith normalthyroidfunction underwentcoronaryangiography.Fifty patients with
normalthyroidfunction underwentpercutaneouscoronaryintervention .Thebloodfreetri-
iodothyronine ( FT 3 ), freethyroxine ( FT 4 ), totaltri-iodothyronine ( TT 3 ), totalthyroxine ( TT 4 ),
thyroid-stimulating hormone ( TSH ), thyroid peroxidase ( TPO ), thyro globulin antibody
( TGAB ), thyroidstimulatingantibody ( TSAB ) weremeasuredandthyroid morphologywere
measuredbyultrasonographybeforeangiographyandtwoweeksafterthetherapy.Results
ThereweresignificantchangesofTSHandFT 3 comparedwithbeforetherapyaftertwoweeks
(
P <0.05 ) .Buttherewasnosignificantchangebetweentwoguoups.Therewerenosignificant
changesofFT 4 , TT 3 , TT 4 , TPO , TSAB , TGABafterthe2 weekscompared withbefore
therapy ( P >0.05 ) .Andtherewasnochangebetweentwogroups.Therewasnoobviouschange onthyroidmorphologymeasuredbyultrasonographyafter2weeks.Conclusion Therehasrisk
ofsubclinicalthyroidfunctionhyperfunctionwithlargedosageiodinecontrastindiagnosisand
treatmentofcoronary heartdiseaseinthenearfuture.Therehasnoinfluenceonthyroid
morphologywithlargedosageiodinecontrastindiagnosisandtreatmentofcoronaryheartdisease
inthenearfuture.
