Observation of curative effect of losartan potassium and hydrochlorothiazide combined with folic acid tablets on Htype hypertension#br#

Abstract: [Abstract]  Objective〖HTSS〗〓To observe antihypertensive effect of losartan potassium and hydrochlorothiazide combined with folic acid tablets on Htype hypertension, and to observe the effects on homocysteine(Hcy), folic acid, hyper sensitive Creactive protein(hsCRP), β2microglobulin(β2MG) and cystatin C(CysC). 
〖HTH〗〖WTHZ〗Methods〖HTSS〗〓A total of 126 patients with Htype hypertension were enrolled and divided into control group(n=63) and treatment group(n=63). The control group was given losartan potassium and hydrochlorothiazide. The treatment group was given losartan potassium and hydrochlorothiazide combined with folic acid tablets. After eight weeks, we observed antihypertensive effect and changes of serum levels of Hcy, folic acid,hsCRP, β2MG and CysC between both groups.
〖HTH〗〖WTHZ〗Results〖HTSS〗〓There was no significant difference in antihypertensive effect and total effective rate between both groups(P>005). Compared to prior treatment, SBP, DBP, the serum levels of Hcy, hsCRP,β2MG and CysC were obviously decreased, the serum level of folic acid was rised after treatment in both groups. And the changes in the treatment group were better than those in the control group, there was statistically significant(P<005).
〖HTH〗〖WTHZ〗Conclusion〖HTSS〗〓Losartan potassium and hydrochlorothiazide combined with folic acid tablets obtains an obvious efficacy on Htype hypertension. It can effectively lower blood pressure and improve the serum levels of Hcy, folic acid, hsCRP, β2MG and CysC.
