Abstract: ［Abstract］ Objective〖HTSS〗〓To observe the effect of Weichang′an Pill on functional dyspepsia(FD) in children and its influence on serum substance P, 5hydroxytryptamine(5HT)，motilin(MOT) and nitric oxide(NO).
〖HTH〗〖WTHZ〗Methods〖HTSS〗〓One hundred and ten cases of children with FD were divided into two groups according to random number table, each group with 55 cases. Control group was given Domperidone Tablets,observation group was given Weichang′an Pill on the basis of control group, and course of treatment was 4 weeks. Clinical symptoms, electrogastrogram and serum substance P, 5HT ,MOT and NO were observed in two groups before and after treatment. The clinical efficacy of two groups was compared.
〖HTH〗〖WTHZ〗Results〖HTSS〗〓The scores of abdominal pain, after eating full bilge, anorexia, early enough, anti acid nausea and vomiting and total score were decreased significantly after treatment between two groups(P＜005). The clinical symptoms were lower than the control group after treatment(P＜005). In the 2 groups after treatment(before meal and after meal), the gastric motility and the abnormal rate of gastric electrical rhythm were significantly decreased(P＜005). After treatment, the abnormal rate of observation group was lower than that of control group(P＜005). The total effective rate of observation group was better than that of control group(P＜005). The levels of serum substance P, 5HT, MOT and NO in the 2 groups were significantly higher than those before treatment(P＜005). The above indexes in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P＜005).
〖HTH〗〖WTHZ〗Conclusion〖HTSS〗〓In the basis of domperidone in the treatment of children with FD, the treatment of Weichang′an Pill can significantly improve the clinical symptoms of children with FD, enhance the gastric motility, and improve the clinical efficacy. The mechanism may be related to the up regulation of serum substance P, 5HT, MOT and NO levels.
