Abstract: [Abstract]〓Objective〖HTSS〗〓To explore the effect of invisible brackets in orthodontic treatment of children with malocclusion.
〖HTH〗〖WTHZ〗Methods〖HTSS〗〓Eightytwo children with malocclusion who needed orthodontic treatment were divided into observation group(39 cases) and control group(43 cases) according to different treatment methods. The observation group was treated with invisible correction without bracket, and the control group was treated with traditional fixation for 6 months. The clinical effects of the two groups were compared. The periodontal index(GI), sulcus probing depth(SPD), sulcus bleeding index(SBI) and plaque index(PLI) of the two groups were compared before and after treatment. The orthodontic time of inclined teeth, orthodontic time of transposition teeth and the end of treatment were compared. The time needed for completion, the satisfaction after correction, and the incidence of adverse reactions during treatmentwere also compared.
〖HTH〗〖WTHZ〗Results〖HTSS〗〓The clinical efficacy of the observation group was better than that of the control group, and the total effective rate was higher than that of the control group(P<005). After treatment, the levels of PLI and SBI in the control group were significantly higher than those before treatment, while those in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<005). The righting time of the tilted teeth and the time of twisting teeth were significantly shorter in the observation group than in the control group(P<005). The satisfaction scores of aesthetic comfort, retention function, masticatory function and language function in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P<005). The incidence of oral mucosal injury, caries and gingivitis in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<005).
〖HTH〗〖WTHZ〗Conclusion〖HTSS〗〓Stealth orthodontic treatment without bracket has a good effect in the orthodontic treatment of children with malocclusion. It is helpful to maintain oral hygiene, does not affect periodontal health, and can improve patient satisfaction, reduce the occurrence of oral adverse reactions during treatment. It is worth popularizing and applying.
