Abstract: Abstract]  ObjectiveTo study the effect of predictive nursing on elderly patients with diabetic foot. MethodsEightytwo cases of elderly patients with diabetes foot were divided into observation group(n=41) and control group(n=41) according to the order of admission. The control group received routine nursing care, and the observation group received predictive nursing on the basis. Diabetes foot knowledge score, foot care behavior score, treatment effect and amputation rate were compared between 2 groups before intervention and after 2 months intervention. ResultsAfter the intervention, diabetic foot awareness score and foot care behavior score were significantly higher than those before intervention. Diabetic foot knowledge score, foot care behavior score in the observation group was significantly higher than the control group(P<005). The clinical efficacy of the observation group was better than that of the control group. The total effective rate was higher than that of the control group, and the amputation rate was lower than that of the control group(P<005). ConclusionNursing care of patients with diabetic foot can significantly improve the knowledge score, foot care behavior score and clinical curative effect, and reduce the incidence of deteriorate ,improve the quality of life in patients with diabetic foot, most likely to avoid amputation, which is worthy of clinical attention.
