Abstract: [Abstract]Objective〖HTSS〗To investigate the clinical value of surgical resection by modified Kawase approach in the treatment of petroclival meningiomas(PCMs).
〖HTH〗〖WTHZ〗Methods〖HTSS〗To investigate the clinical value of surgical resection by modified Kawase approach in the treatment of PCMs.
〖HTH〗〖WTHZ〗Results〖HTSS〗There was no significant difference between the two groups in the degree of tumor resection(P>005).The incidence of postoperative neurological dysfunction in group A was significantly higher than that in group B(P<0.05). There was no significant difference in postoperative quality of life between two groups(P>005). The incidence of complications in group A was higher than that in group B(P<0.05).
〖HTH〗〖WTHZ〗Conclusion〖HTSS〗The surgical resection by modified Kawase approach in the treatment of PCMs has good clinical efficacy and prognosis, and has a certain safety. It can be used as the first choice for clinical treatment of patients with PCMs.
