Abstract: [Abstract] Objective〖HTSS〗To investigate the therapeutic effect of growth hormone (GH) on ovulation induction in elderly patients with micro-stimulation.
〖HTH〗〖WTHZ〗Methods〖HTSS〗A retrospective analysis of 180 patients with in vitro fertilization and embryo transfer(IVF-ET), all using micro-stimulation,according to whether GH was added or not,90 cases were divided into study group(GH added) and control group(GH not added) 90 cases.Analyze and compare the general situation of the two groups, IVF related indicators and assisted pregnancy outcomes.
〖HTH〗〖WTHZ〗Results〖HTSS〗①There was no significant difference in the age, infertility years and basal endocrine levels between two groups(P>0.05). ②There were no significant differences in total gonadotropin, days of Gn use, estrogen level on human chorionic gonadotropin(HCG) day, endometrial thickness on HCG day, transplantation number and cycle cancellation rate between two groups(P>0.05). ③The number of eggs harvested, fertilization rate, cleavage rateand number of high-quality embryos in the study group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P<0.05). ④The pregnancy rate in the study group was slightly higher than that in the control group, but there was no significant difference(P>0.05).
〖HTH〗〖WTHZ〗Conclusion〖HTSS〗GH can increase the number of eggs harvested and fertilization rate, cleavage rate, improve the quality of embryos and help to improve the clinical pregnancy rate when microstimulus is used in elderly patients.
