Abstract: ABSTRACT:Objective To investigate the effects of 25Gy 137 Cs radiation on the red cell surface molecule complement receptor type 1(CD35)or CD35 and CD47 in storage erythrocytes. Methods The vein blood samples of healthy donors were collected,leukocyte-depleted suspended erythrocytes were prepared. The specimens of 60 cases were randomly divided into two groups with 30 cases in each group and stored at 4℃,namely non-irradiation group (control group)and irradiation group. The suspended erythrocytes (2mL)were respectively collected on the 0,7th, 14th,21st,28th,and 35th day after the storage of two groups. The quantity of CD35 and CD47 of erythrocytes were assessed by direct calibration method using flow cytometry. Results The quantity of erythrocytes CD35 and CD47 of non-irradiated group and irradiation group decreased during storage at 4℃.The difference had statistical significance in different storage times and interactions between groups and time (P < 0.01 ).However, intergroup difference was of no significance (P >0.05).Conclusion 25Gy 137 Cs radiation does not have significant effects on the CD35 and CD47 expression.
