Abstract: Objective To explore the effect of health education path in the patients with resection of giant pituitary neoplasms via transsphenoidal approach with endoscope.Methods Sixty-two patients were randomly and equally divided into two groups.Control group received conventional method,while experimental group received health education path.Before discharge, between the two groups postoperative complications and satisfaction were compared.Results Before discharge,the complications occurrence rate of experimental group was lower than that in the control group,the satisfaction of experimental group was higher than that of control group (P <0.05).Conclusion Health education path is a practical way for the giant pituitary neoplasms patients with endoscopic surgery.It can effectively reduce the complications incidence and improve the patient satisfaction levels.
