Abstract: [ Abstract ] Objective Toinvestigate the psychologicalchanges ofinfertile patients
undergoinginvitrofertilization-embryotransfer ( IVF-ET ) andtoanalyzethepregnancyoutcome
inordertoprovidebasisforfutureclinicalpractice.Methods EightypatientsforIVF-ET
treatmentwerechosen.Accordingtothepregnancyoutcome , patientsweredividedintopregnant
groupandnon-pregnantgroup , byusingpsychologicalscales , thestudy wastostudythe
psychologicalcharacteristicsofthosepatientsduringthetreatmentprocess , includinginformation
questionnaire , EysenckPersonalityQuestionnaire ( EPQ ), SymptomChecklist-90 (
SCL90 ), Self-
RatinganxietyScale ( SAS ) and Self-Rating Depression Scale ( SDS ) .Andthenanalyzedthe
correlationbetweentheindexesofthetwogroups.Results Thereisnosignificantdifference

scorebetweenpregnantwomenandnon-pregnantwomen.Everyfactormarks , thetotalmarks
andmeanmarksofSCL-90fornon-pregnantwomenwashigherthanthoseofpregnantwomen

nonpregnantwomenwassignificantlyhigherthanthatofpregnantwomen ( P <0.05 ) .Conclusion
Thereissignificantcorrelationbetweenthepsychologicalstateofthepatientandpregnancy outcome.Thisfindinghasguidingsignificancefornursing.Inordertoimprovethepregnancy
rate , clinicaltreatmentshouldbecombinedwithpsychotherapy.Attentionshouldbepaidtothe
impactofpatients'mentalhealthonpregnancyoutcomes
