Abstract: [Abstract] Objective〖HTSS〗〓To assess the efficacy and safety of pregabalin in the treatment of post herpetic neuralgia(PHN).
〖HTH〗〖WTHZ〗Methods〖HTSS〗〓Sixty cases of PHN were randomly divided into two groups, and each group had 30 cases. Group A was treated with pregabalin and group B was treated with amitriptyline for 8 weeks. The pain Visual Analogue Scale(VAS) scores, Daily Sleep Interference Scale(DSIS) scores and SelfRating Anxiety Scale(SAS) scores were compared between two groups before the treatment and 1 week, 2 week, 4 week, 6 week, 8 week after the treatment.
〖HTH〗〖WTHZ〗Results〖HTSS〗〓After treatment, VAS score, DSIS score and SAS score in group A and group B all showed A gradually decreasing trend, but the VAS score, DSIS score and SAS score in group A decreased more, and the interaction differences between groups, at different time points and between groups and at different time points were statistically significant(P<005).
〖HTH〗〖WTHZ〗Conclusion〖HTSS〗〓Pregabalin could rapidly relieve neuropathic pain in PHN patients without serious adverse effects.
