Abstract: Objective To study strontium change of patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD).Methods The serum strontium was measured in 254 CKD patients and 40 healthy volunteers. Results According to creatinine clearance rate,CKD patients were divided into four groups, the serum strontium levels of different groups of CKD patients were significantly higher than that of control group(P <0.01),but there were no significant difference between the groups of CKD patients(P >0.05).ROC curve was 40.25 μg/L for serum strontium to predict the critical value of CKD.Conclusion Patients with CKD can lead to the accumulation of strontium;Strontium level may have a positive meaning for the early screening of CKD.
