Abstract: Objective The study is to explore the application of transient elastography ( FibroScan)and biological indexes on nonalcoholic fatty liver disease( NAFL)patients. Methods 313 NAFL patients and 300 normal healthy people underwent abdominal ultrasound examination, biochemical examination and FibroScan. Results The body mass index( BMI ),alanine aminotransferase( ALT ), aspartate aminotransferase( AST),fasting blood glucose( FBG),total cholesterol( TC),triglyceride( TG), low density lipoprotein cholesterol( LDL-C ),glycosylated hemoglobin( HbA1 c ),liver stiffiness( E )and controlled attenuation parameter( CAPTM )in NAFL group were higher than those of the normal group (P<0. 01),but high density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C)was lower than that of normal group(P<0 . 01 ). FibroScan examination showed higher diagnostic accuracy for NAFL than ultrasonography( P <0. 01),CAPTM was positively correlated with TG,BMI,FBG,HDL-C,E( P <0. 05 or P <0. 01 ). Conclusion CAPTM in FibroScan is a non-invasive,painless quantitative tool in assessment and monitor of fatty liver.
