Abstract: ［Abstract］〓Objective〖HTSS〗〓To investigate the effect of periarticular injection combined with intravenous tranexamic acid on postoperative blood loss after total hip arthroplasty.
〖HTH〗〖WTHZ〗Methods〖HTSS〗〓Fiftynine patients who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into intravenous tranexamic acid group（intravenous group， twentysix casess） and periarticular injection combined with intravenous group（combined group， thirtythree cases）. Both groups received primary total hip arthroplasty， and were separately treated with tranexamic acid 2.0 g added to 100 mL saline intravenous infusion at the beginning of the operation and Tranexamic acid 1.0 g added to 100 mL saline intravenous infusion at the beginning. After Joint installation is finished, 1.0 g tranexamic acid added to saline 50ml periarticular injection was treated, and hidden blood loss, blood transfusion rate, blood transfusion volume of two groups were compared.
〖HTH〗〖WTHZ〗Results〖HTSS〗〓The hidden blood loss, blood transfusion volume and blood transfusion cases in the combined group were significantly lower than those in the intravenous group(P＜005). There was no significant difference in postoperative complications between the two groups(P＞005) .
〖HTH〗〖WTHZ〗Conclusion〖HTSS〗〓Periarticular injection combined with intravenous tranexamic acid after artificial total hip arthroplasty can significantly reduce the hidden blood loss, the blood transfusion rate and the volume of blood transfusion required，which is worth applying in clinical practice.
