Clinnical efficacy of bronchial arterial infusion chemotherapy and embolization in the treatment of stage Ⅲ nonsmall cell lung cancer

Abstract ] Objective Toevaluatethecurativeeffectofthebronchialarterialinfusion
chemotherapyandembolizationinstageⅢ non-smallcelllungcancer.Methods Onehundred
andtwentycasesofstageⅢ non-smallcelllungcancerwererandomlydividedintoobservation
groupandcontrolgroup.Theobservationgroupwasgiven4cyclesbronchialarterialinfusion
chemotherapyandembolizationofiodizedoil , thenthebronchialarterywasembolismedwith
gelfoamcompletelyattheendofthefourthcycle.Thecontrolgroupwasgivenroutinebronchial
arterialinfusionchemotherapy.Thenitwascomparedoftwogroupsthatthecurativeeffect , side
effects , andassesstheclinicalvalueofbronchialarteryperfusionchemotherapyembolism.
Results Thecompleteremission ( CR ) andpartialremission ( PR ) intheobservationgroupand
controlgroupwere41cases ( 68. 3% ) and32cases ( 53. 3% ) respectively.Progressionfreesurvialof patientsintheobvervationgroupwere ( 9. 8±1. 6 ) monthsand ( 5. 1±0. 8 ) months , themedian
survivalwere ( 17. 5±2. 2 ) monthsand ( 11. 8±1. 5 ) monthsrespectively , threeindicatorshave
statisticalsignificance ( P <0.05 ) .Observationgroup1 , 2 , 3 , 5yearssurvivalrate ( % ) 70. 7 ,
47. 4 , 13. 6 , 8. 8 , andcontrolgroupin59. 7 , 32. 4 , 14. 6 , 9. 5 ; Therewassignificantdifferencefor
1 , 2yearsurvivalrate ( P <0.05 ), andnostatisticalsignificancefor3 , 5yearsurvivalrate ( P >
0.05 ); Totaladversereactionratewas35. 6% , 35. 6% , withnostatisticalsignificance P >0.05.
Conclusion BronchialarterialinfusionchemotherapyandembolizationforstageⅢnon-smallcell
lungcancerinthenearfuturecurativeeffectissuperiortopurebronchialarterialinfusion , and
withoutincreaseofsideeffects.Thismethodisworthyofclinicalpromotion.
