Abstract:  Objective Tounderstandtheprevalenceofcervicalcancerandbreastcancer
amongruralwomenin9countiesofHebeiprovince , andprovideevidenceforthepreventionand
controlofthem.Methods Atotalof50667ruralwomenin Hebeiamong35-65yearsold
receivedcervicalcancerscreeningusingthinprepcytologytest ( TCT ) .Thenfurthercolposcopy
andbiopsypathologyweredoneamongthewomenwithsuspectorabnormalresultsofcastoff
cellsexamination.Atotalof8177 womenamong25-55yearsoldreceivedbreastcancer
screeningusinggalactophorevisualexamination , alpatio , ColorDopplerimaginganddiagnoseof
mammography.Results 1672womenwerefoundabnormalwithTCT , accountingfor3.30%
(
1672 / 50667 ) .Thedifferencebetweenthegroups wasstatisticallysignificant ( P <0.01 ) .
Cervicalintraepithelialneoplasiaweredetectedin106women ( 0.21% ) andcervicalcancerwas
foundin8women ( 0.02% ), thedifferencehadnosignificance ( P >0.05 ) .Eightwomenwere
diagnosedasbreastcancer , accountingfor0.10% ( 8 / 8177 ) .Conclusion Theprevalenceof
cervicalcancerandbreastcancerwerelowamongruralwomeninHebeiprovince.Thescreening
rateshouldbeincreased.Atthesametime , healtheducationaboutthesediseaesdiseasesshould
bestrengthenedforruralwomen , toimprovetheirhealthcareconsciousness.
