Expression of Kiss1 and Kiss1R protein in gastric adenocarcinoma and its clinical significance#br#

Abstract: [Abstract]〓Objective〖HTSS〗〓To investigate the role of kisspeptin 1(Kiss1) and kisspeptin 1 receptor(Kiss1R) in the invasion and metastasis of gastric adenocarcinoma and its clinical significance.
〖HTH〗〖WTHZ〗Methods〖HTSS〗〓The 40 cases of gastric adenocarcinoma tissues and 28 cases of normal gastric mucosa were collected. Immunohistochemical SP method was used to detect the expression of Kiss1 and Kiss1R in two groups. The relationship between them and clinical pathological features was analyzed.
〖HTH〗〖WTHZ〗Results〖HTSS〗〓The expression of Kiss1 and Kiss1R protein in gastric adenocarcinoma group were significantly lower than that in normal gastric mucosa group(P<001). The positive rate of Kiss1 protein expression in gastric adenocarcinoma tissues with Lowdifferentiation, lymph node metastasis and TNM Ⅲ+Ⅳ was lower than that of moderately welldifferentiated, no lymph node metastasis, and Ⅰ+Ⅱ(P<005). The positive rate of Kiss1 protein expression was no significant difference in different sex, age, tumor size and depth of tumor invasion of gastric adenocarcinoma tissue(P>005). There was no significant difference in the positive expression rate of Kiss1R protein in gastric adenocarcinoma between sex, age, gastric adenocarcinoma tumor size, differentiation degree, depth of invasion, lymph node metastasis and TNM staging(P>005). The expressions of Kiss1 and Kiss1R protein in gastric adenocarcinoma were positively correlated(P<005).
〖HTH〗〖WTHZ〗Conclusion〖HTSS〗〓Kiss1 can inhibit tumor metastasis during the progression of gastric adenocarcinoma, and it has the potential to be a biological indicator for judging the metastasis and prognosis of gastric adenocarcinoma. Kiss1/Kiss1R signaling pathway is expected to be an effective intervention target for the treatment of gastric adenocarcinoma.
