Abstract: [Abstract] Objective〖HTSS〗〓To reduce the leakage rate of finished product in pharmacy intravenous admixture service, the risk caused by the leakage quality defects.
〖HTH〗〖WTHZ〗Methods〖HTSS〗〓Using the quality control circle(QCC), the causes and types of the leakage were calculated and analyzed, formulate improvement was measured and put them into effect. Then the amount of leakage were calculated which occurred before and after the improvement in the proportion of the total amount to confirm effect.Reasonable measures should be brought into the standardized management, and at the same time we also review and improve the defective activity.
〖HTH〗〖WTHZ〗Results〖HTSS〗〓The leakage reason is mainly due to product process, cut bag and fold wear. After the improvement of any methods such as infusion placing, admixing and sorting, the leakage rate is reduced from 2.05×10-4 to 1.01×10-4. At the same time,we also get other aspects including the unnecessary waste of drugs, cost and working hours.
〖HTH〗〖WTHZ〗Conclusion〖HTSS〗〓Using the QCC management tools can save time and economic cost and improve the safety of medication.
