Abstract: Objective To compare the prognosis between sudden hearing loss patients with and without anxiety. Methods The sudden hearing loss patients were assessed according to State-Trait Anxiety Inventory( STAI). The selection involved 30 patients sudden hearing loss patients treated in our hospital with anxiety compared with 30 patients without anxiety,the treatment effect between two groups was compared. Results The treatment effect of sudden hearing loss patients with anxiety was significantly reduced compared with that of controls( P﹤0 . 05 ). Conclusion The treatment effect of sudden hearing loss patients with anxiety was significantly reduced compared with that of controls. We should strengthen psychological treatment to increase the recovery rate and the quality of life.
