Abstract: 〗[Abstract]  Objective〖HTSS〗〓To evaluate the expression of hypoxia inducible factor1α(HIF1α) , glucose transporter protein1(GLUT1) and vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF) in cervical cancer and to investigate the relationships between their expressions and the clinicopathological characteristics.
〖HTH〗〖WTHZ〗Methods〖HTSS〗〓The expression levels of HIF1α, GLUT1 and VEGF were detected in 54 cases of cervical cancer by SP immunohistochemieal methods, compared with 10 cases of normal cervical epithelium tissue. The correlation between the expression of HIF1α, GLUT1 and GLUT1,VEGF in cervical cancer was analyzed.
〖HTH〗〖WTHZ〗Results〖HTSS〗〓The positive expression rates of HIF1α, GLUT1 and VEGF in cervical cancer tissues were higher than control group(P<005). The positive expression rates of HIF1α, GLUT1 and VEGF in cervical cancer with lymph node matastasis were significantly higher than those in no lymph node matastasis group(P<005). The expression of GLUT1 was positively related to lymph node matastasis, histological grades and clinical stages(P<005). Positive correlation existed between the expression of HIF1α and GLUT1,VEGF in cervical cancer(rs=0.280, 0.320, P<005).
〖HTH〗〖WTHZ〗Conclusion〖HTSS〗〓The high expression of HIF1α, GLUT1 and VEGF shows that the invasion of cervical cancer is even higher. Combined detection of the three indicators can be used to accurately assess the prognosis in cervical cancer and evaluate the clinical effects of radiotherapy.
