Clinical effect of mifepristone combined with traditional Chinese medicine on the treatment of endometriosis and its effect on the level of CA125

Abstract: [ Abstract ] Objective To exploretheclinicaleffects of mifepristonecombined with
traditionalChinesemedicineonthetreatmentofendometriosisanditseffectonthelevelofcancer
antigen125 ( CA125 ) .Methods A totalof116casesofpatients withendometriosis were
randomlydividedintoexperimentgroupandcontrolgroup , thecontrolgroupweretreatedby
mifepristone , theexperimentgroupweretreatedbymifepristonecombinewithchinesetraditional
medicine.Theclinicaleffects , thelevels of CA125 , follicle-stimulating hormone ( FSH ), uteotropichormone ( LH ), estradiol ( E 2 ) andadversereactions werecomparedforthetwo
groups.Results Therewasnosignificantdifferenceonthetotaleffectiveratebetweenthetwo
groups ( P >0.05 ) .TherewasnosignificantdifferenceonthelevelsofCA125beforetreatment
(
P >0.05 ); ThelevelsofCA125aftertreatmentintheexperimentgroupwerelowerthanthat
beforetreatmentandthatinthecontrolgroup ( P <0.05 ) .ThelevelsofCA125aftertreatmentin
thecontrolgroupwerelowerthanthatbeforetreatment ( P <0.05 ) .Therewasnosignificant
differenceonthelevelsofFSH , LH , E 2 beforeandaftertreatment ( P >0.05 ) .Therateofbody
weightgain , alaninetransaminaseabnormity , hypaphrodisia , edemaintheexperimentgroup
werelowerthanthatinthecontrolgroup ( P <0.05 ) .Therewasnosignificantdifferenceonthe
rateofvaginalbleedingbetweenthetwogroups ( P >0.05 ) .Conclusion Ithasgoodclinical
effectsforthepatients withendometriosisby mifepristonecombine withchinesetraditional
medicine.ItcanimprovethelevelsofCA125 , withoutsignificantinfluenceonsexhormoneand
withlessadversereaction.Ithashigherclinicalapplicationvalues.
